The Laboratory Department at CIHA provides crucial services utilized in the assessment of your health condition. Our lab professionals contribute to the multidisciplinary medical approaches used by your Integrated Care Team.
The Services Our Laboratory Provides:
- Blood collection with a variety of tests
- ABO/Rh and cross-matching tests
- Urine sample analysis
- Analysis of cultures provided to the laboratory for bacteria identification and antibiotic sensitivity
- Drug screenings
- Pregnancy tests
Hours of operation:
Monday to Friday: 7 a.m.–6 p.m. for outpatient services.
Closed weekends and holidays.

Do I need to fast?
Yes, for the care panel or lipid profile test. For all other tests, please call to be sure.

How long does it take to get results?
Generally speaking, your results will be provided the day of your testing if it is performed at CIHA; if your test is sent out to a reference laboratory, it could take 5–7 days.
